Technical and Production Consultant

Akram Nafee is an Engineer by profession with 8 years experience in Microchip design. He is currently employed at Kapik Integration as a Senior Design Engineer. He graduated from the University of Toronto, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He pursued his post-graduate degree at the same university, completing a Masters in Applied Science. Akram has been involved community service for over 16 years, since entering into university. At university, he has been active with the Muslim Students Association (MSA), contributing to various outreach and religious accommodation initiatives. He was one of the founding members of the Students for World Justice committee. In 2005, he assumed the position of religious accommodations coordinator. For over 10 years, he has also been a youth worker with the Muslim Association of Canada, and served as the Mississauga chapter youth representative from 2012-2014. In 2013, Akram joined the Free Khaled Al Qazzaz campaign, working towards raising awareness and advocacy to free Khaled from unjust imprisonment in Egypt. He is a founder of a media production company Warsha Inc.
